Terms of Service

You may need an account to use certain Frettify features, including saved libraries, free conversions, subscriptions, and billing management. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

You must provide accurate account information and may not use Frettify for unlawful, abusive, or infringing purposes.

You may upload sheet music files, PDFs, images, MusicXML files, and related materials to Frettify. You retain ownership of the content you upload.

By uploading content, you grant Frettify permission to store, process, convert, display, and transmit that content as needed to provide the service. This includes generating MusicXML, guitar tablature, previews, saved library items, and related conversion outputs.

You are responsible for making sure you have the legal right to upload and convert any music, score, image, file, or other content you submit to Frettify.

Frettify provides automated music conversion and tablature editing tools. Conversion results may contain errors, omissions, incorrect notes, incorrect rhythms, formatting issues, or fingerings that require review.

Frettify is intended to assist musicians, teachers, arrangers, and players. It is not a guarantee of perfect transcription, notation, tablature, or musical accuracy.

Frettify may offer paid monthly subscription plans with monthly PDF/image page-conversion limits and MusicXML upload limits. A PDF/image conversion is one page of sheet music, so a five-page score uses five page conversions. MusicXML uploads are counted separately unless a plan states they are unlimited. Plan details, pricing, and included quotas are shown on the Pricing page and during checkout.

Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges until you cancel. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the Frettify billing portal.

Unless otherwise stated, unused monthly conversions do not roll over to future billing periods.

Frettify may offer a limited free account experience, such as a first-page or trial conversion. MusicXML upload requires a paid plan. Free usage limits may change at any time.

You may not use Frettify to upload or process content you do not have rights to use, violate copyright or other laws, attack or disrupt the service, scrape or reverse engineer the platform, bypass subscription limits, share access credentials, or use Frettify in a way that harms other users or the service.

We work to keep Frettify available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, break, be limited, or be discontinued.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the service, create legal risk, fail to pay subscription fees, or harm Frettify or other users.

Frettify is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Frettify LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of Frettify.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Frettify after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
